Elliptical for 13 min. Does that count as a workout?! Lol

So I had intentions of doing 30 min but the iPad I watch shows on died after 13 min so I threw in the towel. Also, does anyone experience tightness in your lower abdomen when working out? It’s almost like cramping but more of a dull ache/tightening. Is this normal? I don’t want to push it with workouts if that’s not a Normal feeling.
