When to start opks

What cycle day are you supposed to start testing for ovulation ? I don't wNt to miss it but don't want to waste tests

Answer

Personally I started a couple days after I finished my period just testing once a day and then when my fertile window started I tested twice a day. This was my first month using OPKs and the Glow window is just a prediction based on average cycle times. I wanted to be certain when I was ovulating since it's possible to ovulate earlier or later in your cycle than the prediction. Mine was thankfully accurate but I'm happy to know that for sure instead of playing a guessing game. If I don't get my BFP this month now I know I can just start testing a day or two before I'm supposed to ovulate so that I pinpoint my LH surge.

Answer

I usually start on the first day of my fertile window. I've been using them for a few months now so Glow is pretty accurate at predicting my ovulation day  The only exception was last cycle when I ovulated 3 days after the predicted day.
