Two Questions??

First this is my 3rd pregnancy and I'm currently 38wks. she's been head down since 35wks but I'm yet to lose my mucus plug. I remember losing it with my first but can't quite remember my 2nd. Do you have to lose it for them to come or for your water to break?

Second I havent been very successful in the whole water breaking mine has always been broken for me and with this being my 3rd will that be the same with this one? Our hospital is an hour away id rather it break on its own and know 100% its time to go we don't want to be driving back and forth.
