How often do u get Ultrasounds when 35+??

Question

I want to push for more than the minimum because I am 41 with previous "missed" miscarriage at 8 weeks after heartbeat scan. Super paranoid!!!!

The last ultrasound you get is around 35 weeks to measure the other then that you usually don’t. I’m getting another one at 40 weeks because I’m going past my due date and they want to make sure he’s okay. Outside of anything medically wrong you don’t

I’m 37, I had a vaginal at 8weeks, did the genetic bloodwork, had another ultrasound (regular) at 20 weeks everything looked good but they still sent me to a maternal fetal specialist  for a super in depth ultrasound at 22  weeks to check all measurements closely because of my age.  I have one more with the specialist to check on growth at week 34 and I’m pretty sure my ob said I have one more with them too.  So a total of 5 throughout.  That’s if everything stays smooth and no problems arise of course!  Wishing you well through it all!

I didn't get extra ultrasounds because I am AMA. I had to get extra ultrasounds because I had GDM and my OB watched me like a hawk. And there was the NT scan where my stubborn child wouldn't cooperate, so I gad you go back a week later to redo, which costed us an extra $500.
