What should we expect?? Please help!

My husband and I have been TTC for a year and half now. He recently went for a SA and the results came back with 38% motility, abnormal morphology with amorphous heads and defective mid-pieces.

What does this mean??

We have an appointment with the male infertility specialist next week, but I’m going crazy right now and I’m so scared!

The few people I’ve talked to seem to think that we will need IVF.

I’ve been trying to be strong for my husband because I knew this would break his heart. He didn’t even hardly react... and when I mentioned the possibility for IVF, he said he didn’t know if it was worth it?!? We have both been so excited while TTC. My heart is breaking and I just need some answers!
