What do you think..?

I know you are not a doctor so you can't be right but I want to see what others think.  I'm going Monday for a membrane sweep. I'll be 39+3, as of yesterday I was right at 2cm dilated. Has anyone ever had the membrane sweep done around this time? If so, how long before you had your baby?

I've never had it done personally but I've heard from my sisters and grandma (mom of 8) if done properly it'll send u into labor immediately or within 48hrs...and it hurts like a bitch😧so prepare for that.

why not just wait? your body is already doing what it's supposed to do. what makes you think it needs help?

With my first I had my membranes swept at 39 weeks and baby came at 40 plus 1 week. My friend had hers swept at 39 weeks and baby came the next day... I think it pretty much depends on your body!
