By this I mean, you didn't stop producing and your baby didn't wean theirself, you just chose to stop breastfeeding.

I stopped at 2 months & I regret not stopping sooner. I'm so glad some of y'all were able to do it & it make you happy & bonded with your baby. But for me, lord my baby is a year now & the only thing I can remember from those first two months is being depressed, freaking exhausted, feeling like a failure, & being angry.

I voted 12 to 18 because that's my plan but my real goal is to stop pumping at work. I'm still pumping twice and he turns one next week. I plan on still nursing in the morning and at night until he wants to stop but I really just want to stop pumping at work!

I would have chosen to have weaned my son at a year old but he was very attached and we continued til 17.5 months.

My daughter is 13 months and I’m hoping she weans herself. I’m willing to go to 2 years, but I’m kind of hoping she will want to be done around 18 months.

I choose to stop when my son got bored and wouldn't sit still anymore at 14 months. So I'm not sure if that's him or myself who stopped. He seemed to be fine (he was only nursing once a day) with just bottles of milk for a month then exclusively on supply cups and straw cups. No more bottles at 15 or 16 months! 😊
