All excited for nothing

Haven’t really seen my boyfriend all week since we work opposite shifts. I was really excited because he would be coming over tonight and I could finally spend time with him.

An hour left at work, he texts me and says he’s not going to come over. He just wants to stay home. It took all I had not to tear up at work.

I’ve had a shitty week and was really looking forward to seeing him.

He doesn’t understand why I’m upset.

I could have gone to see him. But, when I was explaining how upset I was, he responded with “why are you acting like this?”

I got mad quickly and I’ve heard nothing from him since.
