Have you ever had an IUD?

I'm thinking about getting an IUD because I like how it lasts for years. But idk how comfortable it is. So for anyone who has one or tried it in the past, how did you like it ? And what are some things you didn't like about it?

First off I just had a baby 3 months ago so that does make a difference in my experience. I just got mine yesterday and I didn't feel a thing. I didn't feel the pinch or cramps that everyone talks about, and for me the worst part was the speculum because no one likes their vagina being held open lol. I started my period yesterday too and it's super light. I got the Paraguard which is non hormonal and lasts 10 years. So far so good but it's only been a day.
