I am 10 weeks and 4 days today. This morning I started bleeding fairly heavy and passed two golf ball sized clots. We went to the emergency room and they did an ultrasound and bloodwork. The baby had a heartbeat of 169 and measured right on track. So that was a little reassuring. They said I have a cyst on my ovary and a small perigestational hemorrhage. Either could be the cause for the bleeding and clot. This is my second pregnancy and definitely has us shaken as we had none of this happen with my first.

The ultrasound tech also scared the shit out of me when he goes, “I’m sorry...” long pause, “but I can’t tell you any information based on what I see but you will have to wait for the doctor.” I would have killed him if he wasn’t so nice lol
