What should I do

So me and my partner have not used any birth control for the last yeah and a bit and we haven’t said we have been trying to get pregnant and if it happens it happens the thing in I really want to start trying to get pregnant but I don’t know how to talk to him to see what he thinks and I’m worried he’s going to turn around and say you need to get back on the pill :(

And I know it’s because the money issue but we both work full time and we are engaged and live by our selves.
