who does the chores in your house?
I asked my husband to fold the socks since I was doing the rest of the laundry and he told me no. His job is to go to work, and since I'm the wife, it's my job to cook, clean, and do laundry. I told him fine, I'll quit my job, and stay home and do everything. he said if you do, you'll be single. I said fine, you do your own laundry.
his dad passed away almost 1 year ago, he's been super lazy ever since. he might clean like once every few months. I know he needs time to heal, but it's time for him to start contributing around the house again. last time we argued about this he called my dad and said well she never does dishes. really???? when was the last time he vacuumed, when was the time he actually did laundry besides leaving clothes sitting in the washer and dryer. when was the last time he ever cleaned the bathrooms, the floors, vacuumed, cleaned the windows, gave the dog a bath besides one time this year, or even trimmed our dogs nails??? so I don't do dishes to force him to and that's really to much????? when was the last time he washed the bed sheets, was was the last time he cooked? not trying to brag but I make more money then he does, I work as just as many hours as he does. he might have been joking but I am pissed. we have been together since 2012, and before his dad passed away, we were the happiest couple. We never fought. Now, we barely go a day without bickering at each other once. He doesn't do anything anymore and I'm tired of it. We have talked about why I am upset multiple times and he said he will work on it, but he will do something once and that's it. I feel like we have become room mates..
