I posted this post here bc im preg. lol pleade help!!!This is a long story so hang in there with me. I'm 28 yrs old & happily married. My career I'm a social worker for the state. We are expecting our first baby in February 5, 18. 😊 My father he lives out state he has 3 children in total including me. we all have different mom's. I never grew up with him neither. I'm the youngest of all there. Well my father is retired and has all the time in the world . health wise he has severe depression and physical pain. His depression is very bad he sees a psychiatric is taking meds & has tried to commit suicide in the past. From all of his children I'm the one that he has the best relationship with. So anyhow , I talked to him on the phone almost everyday. Tuesday- Friday . But when ever i don't answer his calls he keeps calling and calling and leaves me very nasty messages. he continues sending me texts and fb saying very rude things. Such as I only care about my self, I'm a horrible daughter, other children values their parents, I'm a selfish person and so on. He does the same thing to his other children that's why they go through period without speaking to him. When he leaves those nasty messages I stop talking to him for a day or so and he later sends apologetic messages. After he apologizes I call him back he answer the phone saying things like “you now decide to call “” you now remember that you have a father” Anyways, in the past I would let it go because I know he has severe depression. But now that I'm prego u7there's so much I can take. I know what he is doing is emotional abuse but like I said I always just set my emotions aside forgive him and carry on. i already talked to him about this in the past but he just cant control himself. But now that I'm prego , I feel I need to put my well-being above others. Being prego its hard too many hormones going through my body. Most recent incident was on Friday he called didn’t answer, sat was calling me through out the day and sending me messages and todays he did the same and left me nasty v.m. so I just blocked him I don’t know if what I did was right.. im open to feedback please let me know your thoughts.
