Risk of preeclampsia??

At my doctor appointment Thursday I had protein in my urine but my blood pressure was fine. Now my ankles have been swelling a little the past couple days. Could this be a sign of high blood pressure? I have a non stress test Tuesday but was wondering if I should call and let the doctor know about the swelling since I did have the protein in my urine already

I'd call. I had preeclampsia with major swelling and high blood pressure and it's not a joke at all. It started out with no protein in my urine so the doctor and nurses brushed it off and because they did that I had to be admitted for steroid shots and an emergency induction. If it's possibly preeclampsia I'd try to get help for this asap

How far along are you? If you're in the last few weeks, I'd call. If you're less than like 34 weeks, I'd probably wait until Tuesday.
