Fetal Doppler question

I know you can hear your own heartbeat with this, so I was trying to figure out if it was mine or the baby's. But, on both my left and my right side I heard heart beats. Can you hear your own heart beat on both side w a fetal Doppler? Bc they both didn't sound very fast.
