Ultrasound?

So according to this app, I am 5 weeks and 4 days and I’m thinking of getting an ultrasound photo before Christmas for the family (around 14 weeks?) but for all of you moms out there, when did you get your first ultrasound? Going off of a few sites, they said the best time is around 18 weeks. Input?

Had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks 3 days. I have my 16 weeks 3 days appointment tomorrow, but I don't think they'll be doing an ultrasound again until 20 weeks.

I had my first ultrasound at 7 weeks (viability check) and second at 12 weeks (nuchal translucency check).   My next is scheduled for 18 weeks (anatomy check).  We didn't see much other than the heartbeat on the first ultrasound, the second was much more interesting as we could see the baby moving around.  Based on your timing, I'd go with around 12 weeks!

You can get an ultrasound usually between 7-12 weeks for your first. But gender ultrasounds you can't get until 14-20 weeks. So it just depends on what  youre looking for exactly.
