Like the previous poster wrote at 4 months their skin should not be bluish like that. I would be rushing to the pediatrician because bluish tones is not enough oxygen or heat pumping right. I’m assuming your referring to the patchy bumpy spots. That to me just looks like eczema. My sons rough patches look similar. Anywhoozle,  your baby needs to see a medical professional immediately.

Although everyone here is well meaning, PLEASE ask a doctor for medical advice, not strangers on the Internet. You have no way of knowing who really knows what they're talking about and you could be putting your child's health at risk. Also, for the record, people that DO know what they're talking about, aka medical professionals, are not going to diagnose over the Internet. Please take your precious one to the doctor right away.

Cold? Not enough circulation?

Blue not good the patches is fatty deposits that's are holding more oxygen then the rest of the leg. you will see that on anyone who has bad circulation. Patches are not your concern the blue tint should be.  Does the babies leg always turn blue when you hold him that way or is it all the time?

My son's legs do this sometimes too and he is 4 months as well. It's mostly a positional thing when it happens. Nothing continual.

The spot are eczema. My 6yr old has the same weird spots. As far as I he blue color of his legs, I would take him to the ER like now! I hope he is ok :-(
