I think my husband is hiding something...

The past few weeks he's been acting off. He has always has a busy work schedule, up and out the door before me and home after me. Lately he's still sleeping when I leave and is always home before me. When I questioned him about this he said it has just been slow at work. Ok. Well he always works Saturday's, now suddenly he is home two Saturday's in a row.

I'm almost certain he either quit his job or was let go and isn't telling me. I've questioned his new hours and made several comment (trying to give him the opportunity to tell me) but every time he just says it's been slow or another reason.

Maybe I am just being paranoid, but my gut is telling me something is off. I'm contemplating calling his work and pretending to be a client asking when he'll be in next. I feel as if that's the only way to get the true answer. In all honestly, I've had the number dialed two times now today, but I keep chickening out. I'm scared that I am right.

(Just as background, we keep our finances mostly separate, so I don't see his bank account to see if he's getting paid or not.)

Anyways, what do I do? Should I call?
