I was diagnosed about a year ago with type 1 and 2, and normally I'm not very upset when I have an OB because its hidden and I'm the only one who knows about it... well, yesterday I woke up and felt them 4 huge cold sores right across my bottom lip, no warning... nothing. I hurried up and took some lysine which normally helps... nope, my bottom lip is now fat and showing 4 huge cold sores. I should be used to this but I'm not I'm feeling a little self-conscious because... like, who isn't going to notice these? I'm in nursing school so it's just a little embarrassing to me. like I said I'm used to OB's just not on my lips for everyone to see...
