Stay or Go ?

My Fiancé and I are expecting our first baby in January and recently moved into our first apartment together. The apartment had an attempted break in while we were away for the weekend (I attached pics) , the apartment managers said it could take up to 2 months to replace our glass door, and it’s on a very busy loud street.

Regardless , my fiancé and I have been discussing moving back home with our families and saving for a house and our wedding instead, but we can’t come to a decision as my parents won’t let him stay at their house with me , they’re very “old fashioned” , and his old house doesn’t have much space available.

What would you do if it were you? I don’t want to make the wrong decision and regret it later on.
