When to start nursery?

When did everyone start to buy items and put together their nurseries??

I don’t plan on buying anything until after the shower, to see what I get and what I still absolutely need. I’m trying to get the nursery cleaned out before the shower so that I can store the gifts. I’m 28 weeks and my shower is next week.

right before giving birth and I was panicked. My son is 7 and 1/2  montha now and it's still not done LOL

got our crib at like 16 weeks. got our bedding at our shower at 25 weeks. now we're focused on decor and the last bits of furniture during the last trimester

I’m 29 weeks and her crib just came in today. I don’t plan on starting a nursery period because she won’t be sleeping in it. Everything is going in my room until she’s 6 months then I can get a feel for her personality and make her a room to grow into rather than a nursery to grow out of.
