I want to go vegan!

I have no clue where to start though! I love broccoli, cauliflower, corn, salad, carrots, potatoes and sweet potatoes, asparagus, zucchini, cucumbers... But that's all I'm experienced with! I have no clue how to cook beans or other veggies, that and I've never been a fan of baked beans because of the texture (I can get over it though), but I also have no clue how to cook beans or lentils or chickpeas or what you're supposed to do with them if you're not supposed to cook them... I just don't have a clue as to what I'm doing or how to truly transition into a vegan lifestyle. Any tips (for cooking or just in general) would be greatly appreciated!
