Hi ladies! I hope this is the month for all of us! I look forward to tracking through the tww with you!

A bit about me: I have an amazing 16 month old daughter who was, unexpectedly, conceived very easily (basically first month trying) when I was 38. We had married the month prior and knew we should get started...it could take awhile. We definitely knew how lucky we were when we got pregnant so fast! I had a great pregnancy until things changed... I ended up getting pre-eclampsia, had a placental abruption at 34 weeks, my daughter was born about 4.5 lbs and didn't have time to get the steroid shots before the emergency birth, so she was in the hospital for 3 weeks, etc. Long story short, it was traumatic on a number of levels and we almost didn't have this amazing little girl who lights up our life. After everything that happened and him worried we were both gonna die that night, my husband in many ways wanted to stop at one child. It was a lot.

After processing all that and managing our way through colic, a move, and general stress, we finally decided to go for #2 in the spring when our daughter was about 9 months old. Low and behold we got pregnant first shot again... at 39. We were shocked!!
