Carbs are healthy for their diet and I definitely wouldn't take it away. They need carbs to be able to have energy to grow and they burn it all off anyways.

But the brain gets glucose naturally made in the liver from a process called gluconeogenesis, where it sends glucose to the brain within seconds. And fat adapted children (and adults alike) burn a constant stream of energy through fat. Keto has endless benefits for both children and adults. Simple research can do some people some good in this topic. Just remember it’s not a diet. It’s just a way of eating. No one bats an eye when their kid is vegan 🤷🏻‍♀️
