Staying overnight with grandparents etc?

I am just wondering people's opinion on when they think it's suitable for a baby to be away from Mum/dad/both parents overnight even if baby is going to be staying with baby's grandparents?
My brother-in-law and girlfriend let their one away overnight at 5weeks old for the night and then the following week it became routine that she would be away twice a week overnight which was about four days a week as my in-laws would have her all day the day before and after. Sometimes she's their more than what she is at her own home.
I don't feel a baby should be away at such a young age or is it fine?

It’s a personal decision for parents. I don’t plan on letting my baby stay overnight without me for quite some time, but to each their own.

Is it your baby? No? Okay so it’s not your business. I’m leaving my daughter with my mom overnight at 4 weeks so I can go out with my SO for my birthday. My mom also begged to have her sleep there at least twice a month and my SO’s mom also wants her to sleep there maybe once a month. I will take all the breaks I can get. Having a baby is hard and not losing yourself when you become a mom is even harder. If the baby is taken care of and loved then I see no issue.

Yeah that’s a lot no matter how old the child is. I’ve only witnessed one incident similar to this and the baby was with the grandparents ALL the time. Mostly because the parents worked a lot for very little money. But the grandmother is so attached to the baby you’d think it was hers. 
Anyway who cares if it’s your business or not? These people on here giving you shit because they probably have their parents watch their child more than they do themselves. 
Reproducing should be a privilege, not a right. I don’t want my kid growing up in a world full of government assisted kids they never learn to work for a living. Well educated, successful people are having less children while some, with less than average education and no job, are having way too many kids.

Sounds like a lot a time away from her parents. Some people it's necessary. My husband's friends are having a party about 6 weeks after my daughters due date. We will not be attending because my child will be to young.

It really depends on the parent. I personally can’t stand to be away from my very young children for longer than a couple of hours. And even then my anxiety rises. My kids really don’t spend the night out and never really have. The only time that they did was when they went to visit their grandparents who live out of town.
