acne med probs 😒

So I’ve been taking spironolactone for my acne for about the last 7 weeks or so. I have had one period so far being on it, and so far 6 days late from when I should be having my second period and I’ve been so regular for the last 3 years! I’m so frustrated that acne meds are pushing back my period. My hormones are all over the place. Anyone else deal with this? I will be starting birth control soon because I’m getting married next year, so I’m hoping I can stop taking the other meds because I know BC can help clear acne too (it helped when I was on it back in high school). I’m just curious if anyone else’s period has been late from acne meds..
