So this is the only safe place for me to rant because my work checks social media... And I'm friends on Facebook with a few gossipy coworkers...

But I'm a shift lead/assistant manager in training for a convenience store/gas station/pizza, subs, and fryer foods shop, and part of my responsibility is training new people on the job... I am MORE than happy to do this.

However, I'm training someone now, who is SOOOOOOOOO SLLLLOOOOOWWW. So slow! this is a fast paced environment, and I'm trying not to get frustrated, because I do remember what it was like starting out. you're required to master every aspect within two weeks and be confident to do it on your own after training twice in each section for all shifts. It is difficult..

But this girl is slow. and when I suggest that she needs to start doing something on her to-do list, her response was "I'm here for three more hours..." Yes. I know. but I am EXPERIENCED and with how slow you move, and how you have to stop what you're doing to deal with customers between everything, it takes three hours to empty garbages, sweep the floor, and reconcile lottery. TRUST ME.

in other words, if I have one more cocky slow af newbie tell me how to do the job, I am going to lose my MIND!!!!!!!!
