This happened a couple months ago but I've just been thinking about it a lot lately. So a couple months ago I went to a concert for my birthday. I went with my friend and her new bf and I was set up by both of them with his roommate. At first the guy seems ok and he seemed really nice. I was just happy that I had a date so I wasn't third wheeling or anything. Because it was my birthday I decided to celebrate at the concert by getting really drunk. Anyways, I started to get really into the guy I was set up with and I was having a lot of fun we were dancing and kissing and things like that. Keep in mind I was also very drunk at this time so I barely even remember it. The problem that happened was that when I started to sober up a little bit I wasn't comfortable with anything. He kept wanting to grind on me and I just didn't want to anymore I was over it. Then he started grabbing at my butt and grabbing at my boobs and trying to pull my shirt up. I would swat his hand away and tell him to stop but he just kept on doing it. I got to a point when I just wanted him to leave me alone but I couldn't leave the group. He even tried to fight one of my friends who came up to me. And then after that he came up behind me and was grabbing at my boobs again and whispering in my ear about how he wanted me to go back to his house and start drinking more and things like that. I had never been more uncomfortable than I had in that moment. And if I was talking to someone he would just come up to me and get my attention by kissing me which I didn't want at all. And the other thing I realized too was that my friend who set me up with him was encouraging him to do all of these things. Just the fact that I didn't know him before all of this makes me feel even worse. I feel like he was totally trying to take advantage of me while I was drunk. My friend was encouraging it too and she's knows that I'm not like that at all. And after I told her I was uncomfortable she just blew it off like nothing even happened. Is she right that it's not big of a deal or was this actually a way worse situation? I've never had to deal with something like this before and I don't know if I'm just blowing it out of proportion.
