Hi all.

My best friend is fostering 4 three week old kittens.

I'm currently 13 weeks pregnant and had some cuddles with them.

I got a couple of really light scratches on my arms as they can't retract their claws yet. They have been fully washed twice along with under their claws.

I know of the risk of Toxoplasmosis but they are not yet pooping on their own (need to be rubbed to pee and poo) so they are not yet walking in poop and it shouldn't be on their claws.. but. I'm really worried now. Should I go to the doctor? I've washed my arms and put antiseptic cream on (there was no blood, but the scratches went pink as they usually would from a cat)

I've heard that if born in doors they should be fine, but the mum was a stray and was brought in with them at 2 weeks old. Then mum rejected them though so they are not with her. So they were born outside. Hence my concern. I'm feeling really guilty having cuddled them now!
