I was an exclusively pumping momma to two babies for a year. If I had used anything other than a double electric pump I would be spending the rest of my life with carpal tunnel. I did have a hand pump for emergencies if I didn't have access to an outlet, but I used my Medela double electric 7 times a day for a year, and it still works great!

I CANNOT seem to get my electric to make me let down! Even on highest setting! Idk why. I ebf for the first 11 months- maybe my body is just so used to my son. Hand pumps are more similar to that.

I hated my electric pump. The manual pump has more suction and I was able to get a lot more out in a shorter period of time with it. I honestly wish I wouldn't have spent the money on my electric one.
