Am I too old to not know my body well?

I'm 22 years old, had my period since the 4th grade & I still don't know what to expect during my period week and the week before. I never have the same symptoms and am constantly trying to figure out if I am having period or pregnancy symptoms smh 😂

Do you see a gynecologist? Talking to a doctor might be helpful. Tracking your symptoms is a good idea too. 
Are you trying to get pregnant? If not, are you having unprotected sex? If you don't want to get pregnant right now, you need to be smart and responsible about it. Condoms  or birth control. Or, abstain from sex. If you're not having sex, you won't get pregnant and won't drive yourself insane worrying about it.

I didn’t feel like my period was normal/regular/predictable/whatever until 22 or 23 (I’m 31 now). That thing was all over the place my teenage years, skip a month or two here, double up some months, cramps all week one time, no cramps the next. Hormones are all over the place and even when we hit 20 they haven’t quite settled.

Girl, I got my period when I was 12/13 and now I'm 19. From the first time, to age 18, my period was the same every single month- same symptoms and all. This past year, my period shows every month, at random times, with different symptoms each month. The only 2 symptoms I can say always have been consistent are MAJOR cramps and MAJOR hotflashes.

Am I too old to not know my body well?
