Low AMH high FSH and I'm only 28 😔 ivf?

Hi ladies. I'm feeling so defeated and honestly sick about everything that I have learned within the last week. (I don't think I've ever cried this much in my life)

My husband and I have been trying since Jan 2017. In feb I got my first positive pregnancy test ever.

Unfortunately it ended in a chemical pregnancy. We kept on trying with no luck so in May I tried Clomid. (Note- I have no problem ovulating. I have a very regular cycle) no luck. June I did a second cycle. No luck. We ended up taking the rest of the summer off and then started trying again naturally in September. Still nothing. My doctor said try clomid one more time and then we could try <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">iUi</a>.

Currently I'm trying the clomid again but my blood test came back really high for FSH at 13. We then did a AMH which came back at .7. I feel heart broken. I'm only 28

I'm still waiting to hear back from the doctor but the nurse said he will probably suggest <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>. 😩 I'm literally so scared to spend all this money and it not work.

Has anyone been in my situation?

Everyone whose ever had IVF suggested to them has been in this situation.  It is scary and there is no guarantee of success.  But as someone who has spent $30k on various fertility treatments over the lash year and is now 7 w pregnant i can tell you the money 💰 seems unimportant once you hear that heart beat for the first time.

I’m in a similar situation and I am 29. I’ve been actively ttc for over 2 years. Low AMH and high FSH. I’ve conceived 3 times- naturally once, once on clomid, once after ivf. All ended in miscarriages. 
I am lucky I live in Massachusetts where insurance is coving the IVF procedures. I still have some out of pocket but nothing like what it would be otherwise. I am starting my first meds today for this next cycle. It’s not fun, I hate needles but if can help me have my first then I’m up fo it. I wish you the best of luck, you’re not alone in this! I am in the same boat , only 28 no issues no problem, did two iuis didnt work, did two trnafer of ivf nonlick into 3rd cycle of tranfer. I hope this works . It is so draining and financially costly.

Hello, I understand completely what u r going through. It’s not easy at all and doctors will always try and help and do the best for you! However, it is ultimately your decision(and hubby’s).  We did 6IUI’s and a few medicated cycles with intercourse and are doing IVF for the 4th time. I too have low amh and still nothing is working. I got 5 embryos out of my retrieval, which isn’t great considering a lot of woman get 16+, but it was good for me!! You could also do the meds to increase egg supply and still do iui( doesn’t cost as much as IVF), I would just book an apt to talk about your option and make sure u get all the info u need before proceeding forward.
