Induction?

Question

My doctor told me to think about being induced at 39wks nov 2 or 3. Any success stories. Or things I should know and consider. I'm already 2cm and 75% effaced, and baby is engaged. I really didn't wanna go this route, hoping baby will come b4 then.

If you do go for it, try to be as positive as possible. I had myself so worked up over it i hardly slept and was exhausted the morning of. I was induced with my son, i was 3cm & 50% effaced. i went in at 645, got hooked up to pitocin at 730, & he was born at 11:45.

If you dont want to then dont but if its for actual medical reasons then do it for the health of baby and you
I was induced with my daughter and had her same day vaginally pitocin and no pain meds went in at 10 pit started 10:30/10:45am 3cm 80thinned 6:30 water was broken 7cm 80 thinned still and she was born at 7:08pm

I was induced with my first baby at 6 days late and it went great.  Went in at 7:00am (i was already 3 cm) started pitocin at 9:00, epidural at 11:00, and he was born at 3:37pm! Every birth story is different but I don’t think being induced is necessarily a bad thing sometimes your body needs a jump start good luck!
