Any advice for a brand new mom?

Wasn’t expecting or planning to become a mom anytime soon but here I am. If anyone has any advice, helpful tips, or encouragement I’d love to hear. Especially for any moms who managed to finish college with a newborn. I have this semester and then three more until I graduate.

I started my masters with a 6 month old. Takes planning, being organized and also remembering to make time for yourself so you don't burn out. And family help with watching baby when you have assignments or need to study will come in really handy too. I used to read my text books out loud to my daughter, now she reads three levels above her grade lol.

I finished my phd with a newborn! It was tough but you can do it if you set your mind to it. Be prepared to never sleep again lols (get it whenever you can). And most important be kind to yourself- newborns are a tough gig! Take any help that's offered and don't feel guilty about it. Congrats and good luck :)
