My water broke on Saturday 10/14 @7 in the morning. I never got a single contraction. At 9pm that evening I was given Cytotec to induce labor. I barely dilated after 2 doses but contractions came on heavily. Eventually by 6pm(23 hrs after my water broke), I was 6cm. I got an epidural and continued to labor from 6-10pm I only dilated to 8cm and by then the baby was in distress and needed to come out. His heart rate was irregular. At 11pm, Monroe Alexander finally made his arrival. Everyone thought he was a girl even though we had hoped for an boy. He came with a head full of hair and super alert. After doing <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> for a year of losses and injections, these Mommies are so happy to have baby Monroe here❤️
