How soon is too soon?

My wife and I accepted three donations with AI (one on Friday 10/13 and two on Sunday 10/15). I was ovulating that Saturday so we’re trying to be hopeful without completely getting our hopes up, again.

I had a sharp pain in my lower left abdomen near my hip that only lasted for about a minute and haven’t felt anything since. AF is supposed to come 10/29 and 10/27 marks the TWW but I’m getting impatient.

Is it too soon to take a test now? What are your experiences?
