Why is this happening?

Okay, so ever since I was young I struggled from water infections but I don't get them anymore. However, the day after unprotected sex with my boyfriend, I got one. This was two weeks ago and it still hasn't passed. Google said it may be from not going to the toilet straight after sex, but surely it would have gone by now. I what could it be?????
