Since birth, my baby girl (4 weeks tomorrow) cries and screams when she is laid on her back; even when it is changing time. Even while pregnant, she remained face down from 5 months until birth. We could not get her to turn for her ultra sound measurements and all the techs just gave up and measured her as positioned.

The dilemma now is that I cannot put her in her bassinet or crib because I’m afraid to have her sleep on her tummy so she sleeps on me or my husband at night.

During the day, she naps in her swing or bouncer. If I wait until I think she’s in a deep sleep and move her to the crib, she will start crying within minutes and cannot be soothed back to sleep while on her back.
