Test or not to test- that is the question

First I would like to say that I am 35 mother of 3 and totally new to making a human intentionally. We just started trying.

TTC is stressful and complicated.

So the app predicted AF would start on Sunday (10/22). Still no AF. So when I update my cycle it changed my start date to 10/26. Why did it do that? Should I wait to test?

***On a side note, no normal signs AF is knocking at the door. Tested twice last week and both were clearly negative. Some breast tenderness. Some abnormal cravings ( which happened my last pregnancy) but nothing thing that raises a huge red flag.
