What is going on at 44

Question

I'm 44 and 31 days into my cycle. The last time I had sex was two months ago.My last two periods were pretty normal. I haven't had any symptoms. I have been feeling a lil light headed and fatigued, and a larger than usual appetite. What is going on here. 😧

Yup, sounds like perimenopause to me as well.  Just started for me (age 47) about 6 months ago and that’s exactly what it was like — late periods, CRAZY appetite, and waking up in the middle of the night, sometimes two or three times.
Plus side?  My periods are much lighter, I haven’t had any cramping in 8 months, my skin gets fabulously “glowy” around my period, and despite less sleep I seem to have boundless energy!
Negative side? For three months in a row I was buying tests because every time my period was late and I got that perimenopause-glow, I was sure I was pregnant.
Some women go through it early; some late.  For some it’s a quick transition, others can be in Peri for years.  Listen to your body, avoid phytoestrogenic foods, and if you have any adverse symptoms, try Evening Primrose Oil or Damiana - they are wonderful herbal adaptogens.  ✌🏼💕🌿
