How can I keep my 1 year old sleeping all night?

Question

Ever since he was a baby he has never slept a full night an by now I was hoping that he would be. What are some ways I can get him to sleep all night? I will say that we are currently just in a one bedroom living with my grandmother because we just recently moved. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

WHITE NOISE MACHINE!!! 
Mine now takes 3 hour naps during the day and sleeps from 9pm till almost 10am.. she could sleep through a train crash with that thing on. (Plus we hear it through the baby monitor and it helps us sleep too lol)

Pitch black room, white noise and be consistent with a bed time and time to get up in the morning. I also think having set nap times help too.

Mine isn't either and now I'm expecting our second. Im super nervous about this when the second Baby comes. How am I going to sleep with two????
