Birth Control & MTHFR mutation. Who has it?
I Those who have it (all forms): how do you handle/use various forms/ methods of birth control (all forms not just for example a loestrin pill)
Info for all that have it and those who don’t or don’t know if they do:
“OCP users with the MTHFR 677TT mutation were at a roughly fivefold increased risk compared with those with neither risk factor. The risk of stroke with OCP use and MTHFR mutation is more than double that of either risk factor alone [49].”
