Preschool wants 3 year old in speech therapy.
I don't really understand why. She had a letter in her backpack saying she needs speech therapy. She says stuff like "I did play ball" and "I did poop" instead of "I played ball" and "I pooped." Is she supposed to be using the correct terms by 3? (Almost 4) Any advice? How is a 3 year old supposed to speak?
