Is dance a sport?

I am a dancer and some people don’t think it’s a sport, what do you guys think?

I think it is, I always did Irish Dancing and it was very competitive. We danced against many others with the Saint Patrick’s Day parade and I’m competitions with very strict judges. It takes a lot of time, practice, and fitness to do it so in my eyes it’s a sport.
