How do you choose what twin gets what name?

It’s a silly question, but I’ve always wondered how parents of twins (or other multiples) pick what twin gets what name. I don’t personally know anyone who has twins so it’s been a long term unanswered question lol. How do you pick?? 🤔

Humm, who ever poops out first?  I think I would wait til the last minute to see who 'fits' what name.

We actually played with he scenario bc twins run in my family. if they were identical we would decide which one got named what based on which on pops out first. if they aren't and are the same sex then we name them in utero (baby a is this, baby b is that) and obviously opposite sex babies would be named before birth as well. luckily we got a singlton. I'm hoping for only one baby when we start trying again next year 😂

I am pregnant with twins, but they're boy/girl so we don't have that problem. However, my babies have very distinct personalities already (they became very distinct at about 24 weeks) so I would imagine that if I was having two of the same gender I would kind of know them well enough to be able to name them in advance. I don't know though!
