So long story short my husband has a 5 yo daughter from a previous marriage. The other day we were looking at baby things and he bought something for his 5yo instead and it hurt my feelings. He keeps saying it’s too early to buy baby things (I’m 19 weeks and this is my first). I talked to him about it and he just said he didn’t see any baby stuff he liked. 😕 Has anyone in a similar situation felt like their husband wouldn’t like their new baby as much? 😔 I know that sounds ridiculous and it’s probably just my raging hormones so I don’t need any negative comments, maybe just a pep talk.
