Have any of you moms been induced due to high blood pressure but not having preeclampsia? These past few weeks my blood pressure has been high at regular ob appts but then when they send me to labor and delivery, it drops when they monitor me. ( my high blood pressure at appts are not due to nerves btw). Anyways, 2 weeks ago they had me do a clean catch to see if there was protein in my urine and it came back to a 0.2 ( more than normal but have to have 0.3 to be considered preeclamptic) and did blood work and everything came back fine. Went to labor and delivery and my BP dropped but wasn’t my kind of normal. Fast forward to this Thursday and my blood pressure was higher than last time. So my ob said she wants to do test and get me monitored and if she doesn’t like what she sees she’d induce me that night😳. Went to labor and delivery, BP dropped (but still not my normal, except for one time). They had me drink a ton of water so I could pee for them again and it came back to 0.1 so normal but I’m afraid all that water diluted it. Labs came back normal but she said she wanted me to come in on Monday to get my BP checked and then she’ll see me again on thursday. So I’m just wondering if anyone has had a somewhat similar story to mine and if they’ve been induced. I’m 39 weeks on Wednesday.
