Hoping for some thoughts here. Back in Aug I was misdiagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy and went through two rounds of methotrexate to absorb the non viable egg. Turned out, Baby was viable all along and is still surviving. We are est. 15 weeks now and while already very concerned about malformations caused by the abortion drug, my Materniti 21 blood work came back negative for chromosome issues BUT my PAPP A is 0.04 MoM and beta hcg at 0.84 MoM. These are both extremely low levels and now that we know it’s not from chromosome deficiencies, doctors think maybe the methotrexate destroyed my placenta...which in theory makes sense...but I’m wondering if anyone else had levels this low without chromosome issues and had a healthy placenta? We are HIGH risk for everything due to the drug, and now it appears my placenta won’t be delivering what it needs to be to support life. Our hearts are broken. 😞. Any similar experiences?
