If you are induced.. does your BM still come in ?

I am set to induced a week before my due date and I'm curious if it will effect my breast milk... will it come on time or late ?

I was told once your body no longer has the placenta it’s communicating to make milk... the first few days is colostrum then the milk

Quick question, why are you being induced early and was it hard to convince doctors (if it was your choice) to do that? I live far from my family and would love to have my mom there for the delivery and was thinking of being induced on my due date if I didn’t go into labor before.

I was induced, ended up having an emergency c section. Mine was in my day 4 and I've been successfully breastfeeding for almost 10 months.
