Bleeding after sex PP??

Question

I'm 6 weeks PP doctor gave me the go ahead to have sex. She said everything was healing very nicely. Well I just had sex and now I'm bleeding a pretty decent amount. What's going on??

I was told if I bled to wait until a week after it stopped and during that time be aware of an increase in bleeding or any abnormal smells that point to infection. 
Other than that; unless you soak a pad in an hour, I wouldn’t worry too much. I’ve seen a postpartum hemorrhage after a C-section and if that’s what had happened you would’ve gone to the ER. It’s a lot.

Your not all the way healed. You should have waited longer to ha e sex. Go back to the doctor, he/she will probably have you stitch up again.
